Your first escape room

An escape room is a timed team game. You search for clues, solve connected puzzles and work through a story. Your host explains the rules and can usually offer hints.

Choose a room that fits your team

Check the exact venue, minimum age, group size, difficulty and accessibility. For children, ask about adult supervision and scare effects. For two players, check the minimum charge. Large groups may need several rooms.

Useful first-time tips

Talk to each other, share discoveries and organise used clues. Look carefully under or around furniture only where the host permits it. Never force a lock, climb, dismantle fixtures or touch marked electrical equipment. Use any UV torch or special tool only as instructed. Ask for a hint when you stop making progress.
